Jesus at work

We want to personally thank both Steven and MaryBeth Chapman for the grant towards getting the boys. This is an example of faithful servants doing what the Lord has called them to do. Not because of us but because of Jesus and his hearts desire. It is acts of random kindness (ARK) that put the explanation point on this gift. Call it "pay it forward" ,ARK, or whatever. I call it loving obedience to the Lord. For those trying to figure out how they will pay for it all, well that worry will stop you from trying. If you feel God's will he will make it happen. Embrace his love, surrender to his desires and be humbled for he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We also would like to give the warmest thank you to our friends and family that have been in prayer and support for us at this time. It means more to us than we could ever express in words. Our hearts are overflowing with your love.
To others where this doesn't make sense at my age to adopt. What if you aren't around for there wedding or graduation. Maybe there first child. They won't have a Dad. I have prayed on this and don't take your concerns lightly. Thank you for that. First and foremost it's not about me... it is all about Christ and his desires. We know this is his desires. Second the boys don't have a Dad, Mom, sister, brother, home. Our desire is to give HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS. Whether Im here for a day or 50 years it will be worth it for their HOPE. It all comes down to Obedience to our Father in Heaven and I am humbled to serve him. Bless you all, Dad of Seven

The foundation is layed

Thanks to God and my beloved wife the big red tape has been laid. They both have done a remarkable job. As we started out on this journey the girls, Michele and I had our expectations of what was going to happen. Our desires was a girl younger than our youngest. her named will be Grace. Then God showed us who is in control and why we are doing this. To please him not us. He restructured our hearts and planted two little boys, brothers, ages 4 and 1. Solomon and Elijah. We are on overload with excitement. Never considered boys until God said BOYS! We all prayed about it overnight and when morning came the girls were up planning how we had to paint rooms. Move mom and dad into the little room and give the boys the big room. Katie to move into Rosalie's room and Faith gets to stay status quo. The paint started flying, lofts being made, and the reorganizing our quaint little farm house. Oh yes, one bathroom.
This entire journey has been laid one step at a time by the good Lord Jesus Christ. So many experiences to show us he wants so much more for us than we can imagine. He is doing it step by step. Building our faith in him. He is teaching us embrace the journey not the destiny. That is where his learn tools get laid in our family. We as a family have never been closer even in HARD times. What a beautiful gift from the Lord. Praise the Lord in all times. The road is long and winding and I will share more later. Time for bed. Blessings to all. Dad of Seven
